Deputy Head of Teacher Affairs in English Department

Job Descriptions:

- Teacher recruitment and selection (shortlist, calling, interview, teaching demonstration, contract, and probation) - Lead and control teachers - Prepare and keep documents related forms of teacher affairs - Prepare academic documents and materials for teachers (books, CDs, markers, erasers, lockers, pigeonholes, etc.) - Arrange faculty meeting arrangement (agenda, contracts, academic calendar, attendance list, and related documents) - Monitoring teacher performance, attendance and punctuality - Preparing and updating class schedule in consultation with Head of English Department or BM - Organize the whole process of examination (placement test, midterm test, final test, supplementary test, scholarship test, and others) - Facilitating the whole process of examination (placement test, midterm test, final test, supplementary test, scholarship test, and others) - Auditing and keeping the results of all tests - Conduct teacher performance appraisal, observation and hold appraisal interview - Preparing timesheet payment and bonuses for both foreign and Khmer teachers - Deal with teacher inquires - Consult and counsel teachers - Handle teacher substitution request - Run extracurricular activities such as clubs and field trips and other educational events - Interview students for Level Placement - Perform other duties if requested or required by supervisor

Job Requirement:

- Having minimum 1- or 2-year related work experience in education sector; - Holding at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certificate; - Possessing ability to work with diverse groups; - Having strong commitment; - Have good Communication skills, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills; - Must be responsible, reliable, resourceful, punctual, creative and cooperative - Good organizational and time management skills - A strong desire to work in a team and deal with the challenge - Excellent negotiation and internal & external relationship building - Computer literacy and English language proficiency

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday: - Morning Shift: 08:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Afternoon Shift: 02:00 PM - 06:00 PM Saturday (Morning Shift) : 08:00 AM - 12:00 PM Or Saturday (Afternoon Shift) : 01:00 PM - 05:00 PM
